
Miroslav Cikán
Directing
Miroslav Cikán was born on February 11, 1896 in Prague into a working-class family. His father was Josef Cikán (1872 – 1946), a later film episodic writer. He graduated from a business school (1910 – 1913). He went through several painting and sculpture courses. But he came to the film in 1914, and he remained faithful to it.
