Margaretha Albertina Maria (Marga) KlompĂ© (Arnhem, August 16, 1912 â The Hague, October 28, 1986) was a Dutch politician for Katholieke Volkspartij (KVP). In 1956, she became the first female minister in the Netherlands. She was also the first woman to receive the honorary title of Minister of State in the Netherlands (1971â1986).
