Warren Lee TamahoriĀ (June 17, 1950 ā November 7, 2025) was a New Zealand film director. His feature directorial debut,Ā Once Were WarriorsĀ (1994), was a widespread critical and commercial success, and is considered one of the greatest New Zealand films ever made.
